The story of Watercolors by Korry is a little crazy because I never set out to be an artist. I have a dental hygiene degree and always thought that's what I'd do for a living.
When the pandemic came in 2020 and everything shut down I started a little Instagram page just for fun. I've always loved to draw, paint, and express myself artistically and as our families all continued to stay home I began to realize that I might could make my art a more permanent career.
Since then, God has truly blessed my business--so much that I retired from dental hygiene to pursue art full time.
It has been so wonderful to spend more time with my family and enjoy all the things that only someone who has a flexible schedule can.
I'm the face behind the brush of Watercolors by Korry. I'm usually uncomfortable talking about myself, but I can tell you that I am a Southern girl, for sure, having grown up in Southern Arkansas, and I now make my home even further south in the great state of Arkansas.
I am both honored and excited for your interest in my work. I have always been inspired by brides, weddings, florals, colors, decor, and artistic expression in all forms.
